A market leading special purpose machinery manufacturing company based in Corby are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
As the Design Engineer, youll be tasked with designing bespoke or updating existing solutions and products for challenging environments. Additionally, you will prepare product manuals and relevant engineering documentation, carry out engineering calculations, develop new products through research and attend customer sites when required.
To be considered for the position of Mechanical Design Engineer candidates will have sound knowledge of certain processes including fabrication, precision engineering, machinery with lots of moving part or something very similar. You will hold a formal Engineering related qualification (degree preferred) and will have some exposure to SolidWorks or Inventor.
