Assembly Operative

Travail Employment Group have partnered with a well-established, market leading manufacturers and suppliers of standard & Bespoke Cable Assembly, Harnesses and Wiring looms, Connectors, Adaptors, Electronic components, Control and automation products and Automotive aftermarket parts.

Our client has been established for over 20 years providing premium quality branded thermal solutions are widely recognized and integrated into desktop PCs, servers, workstations, notebooks, gaming machines, and storage systems.

Role:

  • Bench assembly of electrical components/wiring.
  • Laying out cabling as preparation for the electrical process of build.
  • Using hand held cutting appliances, bench presser, electrical screwdriver, and crimpers
  • Assisting with quality checks, highlighting any issues to supervisor prior to despatch.
  • Completing all relevant paperwork.
  • Packing product into boxes. Working to production targets
  • Housekeeping of workshop area, ensuring all H&S regulations are adhered to at all times.

Candidate:

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Good team player with a positive, proactive attitude to workload and comfortable working to schedules
  • Excellent attention to detail, good eyesight, and dexterity for accurate performance of repetitive tasks.
  • Passion to produce high quality products.
  • Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Numerically proficient

You will be joining small family run manufacturing company, who have been established for over 20 years, who have an enviable reputation in their field of expertise. You will be reporting directly into the Director.
