Role Overview:
As a Parts & Service Coordinator, youll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient parts supply for the workshop operations. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will oversee the ordering, stock management, and administration to support the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ordering parts based on operational needs and following up with suppliers.
  • Monitoring and maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Assisting with collection of parts as required.
  • Unpacking daily deliveries, checking condition, and ensuring correct placement in the storeroom.
  • Carrying out stock checks when needed.
  • Managing IT systems for planned service work and unscheduled repairs (defects).
  • Communicating updates on jobs to all relevant teams and acting as the central point of contact for departmental administration.
  • Organising and processing job cards for vehicles being booked in and out.
  • Raising purchase orders for required supplies.
  • Performing general office administration tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with company health and safety standards and maintaining a clean, organised storeroom.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a parts advisor role, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C), including English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
