Key job responsibilities include
- Carry out accurate and reproducible test bakes (Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other
- equipment to make baked goods)
- Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food
- safety and quality controls.
- Analysing test bakes, writing reports, and feeding back findings, keeping
- written documentation of all stages
- Support complaints/failures investigations as required carrying out test
- bake on finished goods, presenting back findings and next steps to line
- manager/ internal customers via email and on Teams calls/in person
- Hitting time pressures to release products
- Record and monitor cleaning and temperature records in accordance with
- legislation and internal policy.
- Working towards learning ingredient functionality and owning projects with an overall aptitude for learning with the aim to be a subject matter expert for bakery ingredient & formulation
