Job description

Overview
Red Recruitment are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles and practices, with a focus on optimizing manufacturing processes. This role requires a logical thinker with hands-on experience in tool hanging, and Plastic injection Moulding. The Process Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing production efficiency and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Assemble and troubleshoot logic controllers to ensure proper operation within manufacturing systems.
  • Create and interpret schematics for various production processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for continuous improvement in production methods.
  • Conduct testing and validation of new processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical support for plastics injection moulding processes, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of process changes, improvements, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly and tooling.
  • Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with plastics injection moulding.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse processes and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
