JOB OVERVIEW
Monitoring, auditing and training production staff performing QA tasks
Performing some QA tasks as outlined below
Responsibilities
Supervising production procedures, monitoring raw material and finished product quality, auditing and training of production staff and the tasks they perform.
1.
Ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practices are followed in all factory areas and any anomaly reported to the Technical or Production Managers or their delegates immediately.
2.
Liaising with Production Managers and Production Team Leaders, to ensure product quality, safety and legality.
3.
Forwarding information effectively to Production Supervisor and Production Team Leader.
4.
Verifying the records and monitoring all raw material checks as specified on Consignment History Note carried out for all arrivals.
5.
Monitoring and auditing stock rotation of fruits.
6.
Monitoring and auditing fruit sanitisation processes.
7.
Monitoring dry/ liquid ingredients decanting process.
8.
Supervising production processes, recording all product and process characteristics required.
9.
Monitoring the picking of samples for taste panel, chemical and microbiological tests according to appropriate schedules.
10.
Ensuring that samples are sent to the Laboratory daily according to the schedule provided, and immediately alerting the Technical manager or delegate if samples are not sent.
11.
Organising daily P+1 and End of Life (EOL) taste panels according to the QA Taste panel rota and recording on appropriate document.
12.
Reviewing all DMS before despatch and reporting any anomaly to the Technical manager or delegate before despatch.
13.
Verifying the label records and commenting and reporting any anomaly to Technical Manager or delegate.
14.
Signing of product labels to confirm they are correct.
15.
Preparing various NPD samples as per specification provided.
16.
Where challenges are encountered, work to overcome them, but ask for help if necessary.
17.
Ensuring all paperwork is completed properly.
18.
Follow the food and feed safety, hygiene and housekeeping procedures.
19.
Training Staff according to the training procedure.
20.
Caring for the staff. Giving clear instructions. Encouraging them. Learning about them. Earning their respect.
