Your Role & Responsibilities

As Workshop Manager, you'll be instrumental in the daily operations of the fabrication workshop. Key responsibilities include:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a growing team of 20 skilled Fabricators/Welders and Apprentices to deliver exceptional results.
  • Operational Planning: Ensure the workshop runs smoothly and coordinate with the Operations manager to meet production goals.
  • Mentorship: Help develop the established apprenticeship scheme to further grow and enhance the skills with your experience and knowledge.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: Demonstrable experience with a Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager role within Structural Steel Fabrication or Steelwork fabrication.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Hands-On Knowledge: Fabrication experience is a significant advantage.
