The Role
Are you a proactive problem-solver with a passion for engineering? We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our diverse team. In this role, you’ll support our operations by maintaining and improving site equipment, ensuring reliability, and fostering a safe and collaborative working environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Diagnosing and resolving equipment breakdowns swiftly and efficiently.
- Performing planned and unplanned maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Identifying necessary parts and equipment for repairs and improvements.
- Carrying out both electrical and mechanical installations and repairs within your skill set.
- Using SAP (training provided) to document maintenance activities accurately.
- Collaborating with colleagues across engineering and production teams to maintain high standards.
- Applying safe working practices and risk assessments to all tasks.
- Contributing to the delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the engineering team.
What We’re Looking For:
We welcome applicants from electrical and mechanical backgrounds who bring a passion for engineering and the following essential skills and attributes:
- Technical Expertise:
- Experience with PLC diagnostics to identify and resolve issues.
- Experience in a production or service environment to manage the demands of a fast-paced workplace.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Logical thinker with a calm approach under pressure.
- Teamwork: A strong team player who values and contributes to collaboration and clear communication.
- Innovation: Someone who brings fresh ideas and a proactive mindset to their work.
- Flexibility: Open to shift work and occasional weekend schedules.
- Safety-First Attitude: Prioritize safety in every aspect of their role.
Please note this role works a double days shift pattern.
