PSR Solutions are delighted to be collaborating with a primary school in Corby, in the search for an inspirational SEMH Lead Teacher in their SEN Unit.

PSR Solutions are delighted to be teaming up with a well-respected primary school in Corby, in search of an exceptional SEMH Lead Teacher for their SEN Unit.

This presents a one-of-a-kind opportunity to support some of the most challenging and vulnerable children within North Northamptonshire. The school boasts a well-established SEND Unit specifically for SEMH KS1, working hand in glove with a local Academy to truly make a difference in the lives of children who need understanding and nurture.

The school's SEMH provision is highly regarded, built upon the six principles of Nurture, and has been a beacon of hope since its inception. Hundreds of children have thrived under this nurturing umbrella, thanks in large part to the dedication of the two lead teachers who have set a sterling example. The unit accommodates up to eight children daily, supported by a specialist team of staff dedicated to aiding the Lead Teacher.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an experienced SEN Teacher, with a passion for nurturing young minds
  • Partner with a specialist Nurture Teaching Assistant, bringing a zest for motivation and inspiration.
  • They will have the unique ability to overcome barriers and seize every opportunity to cultivate an environment ripe for success and achievement.
  • Our ideal SEN Unit Lead Teacher will be ready to make a tangible difference, armed with a wealth of innovative ideas to engage all stakeholders.
  • They will be approachable, consistent, and capable of earning the respect of pupils, staff, parents, and carers alike.
  • With the support of the Headteacher, the Lead Teacher will oversee the day-to-day operations of the provision, working closely with the home school and parents/carers to ensure the best outcomes for children with Special Educational Needs (SEMH).

At the core of our client's values lies safeguarding, where all employees are required to prioritise the well-being of children and young individuals, alongside undergoing thorough checks and holding DBS certifications.

If you possess the passion, patience, and dedication to contribute to this impactful venture, we are eager to connect with you!
