As Purchasing Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement a robust direct and indirect purchasing strategy aligned with our business objectives.
- Source, and negotiate favourable terms with Suppliers to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
- Optimize supply chain operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance purchasing processes and performance.
Qualifications and Experience needed as the Purchasing Manager
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing in a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of driving change and achieving results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for supply chain excellence and a hands-on approach
