Our client is a global leader in the provision of frozen storage and logistics solutions, servicing a variety of prominent international brands. With a new state-of-the-art facility in Corby, they are rapidly expanding their team and are focused on creating a dynamic and engaging work environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Counterbalance Forklift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate Counterbalance forklifts and other MHE (Material Handling Equipment) such as PPTs and LLOPs to move frozen goods around the warehouse.
  • Frozen Goods Handling: Work in a cold storage environment with temperatures set at minus 25 degrees Celsius (full PPE provided).
  • Manual Tasks: Perform manual duties as required, such as picking, packing, and stacking products, in addition to MHE operation.
  • Stock Management: Support in the movement, loading, and unloading of stock. Ensure stock is stored correctly and inventory is managed effectively.
  • Support Operations: Assist in various operational duties across the warehouse, supporting the team and business where needed to ensure smooth operations.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: Previous experience operating Counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse environment is required.
  • License: Hold a valid RTITB or ITSSAR accredited Counterbalance license.
  • Manual Handling: Be prepared to perform physical, manual tasks in addition to forklift duties.
  • Cold Storage Work: Comfortable working in a frozen environment (temperatures of -25C). Full PPE will be provided.
  • Reliability: Must be honest, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of work in a critical position within the company.
  • Team Player: Able to work effectively within a team and contribute positively to a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts (4 on / 4 off), including both day and night shifts.
