JP Recruitment Solutions are pleased to be working with a Logistics and Warehousing company, based in Corby, to recruit a permanent Traffic Clerk.

The shift pattern will be working Monday to Friday: 0600-1500 and 1400-2200 rotating each week.

Specific responsibilites include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all traffic operations are undertaken in line with company operating procedures
  • Supporting the on the road management of the traffic operation through communication and guidance
  • Ensuring all required administrative tasks are completed in line with company requirements
  • Dealing with customer / driver enquiries in a polite and effective manner
  • Ensure service level targets and KPI's are achieved by maximising fleet utilisation
  • IT literate; with a high competence in Excel
  • Dealing with and escalating service complaints to ensure effective resolution for the customer and protecting the company image and brand

The sucessful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience of working in a transport office environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting.
  • Proficient in using computerised systems and software.
