Smart Repairer

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, Day Shift

Pay Rate: Negotiable depending on experience and skill set

We are looking for an experienced Smart Repairer to join our client’s team in Corby. This role provides the successful candidate with the chance to work for one of the UK's leading automotive companies with a nationwide presence.

The successful candidate will be confident in all general aspects of smart repair but MUST be able to repair leather steering wheels and stitching.

The Role:

As a Smart Repairer, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Alloy wheel refurbishment.
  • Bumper corner repairs.
  • Wing mirror repairs.
  • Repairing leather steering wheels.
  • Painted trim repairs.
  • Panel repairs – no more than two panels on one side.
  • Touch in chips on bonnet.
  • Door handle repairs.

What kind of person we are looking for?

  • You will have previous experience of working within an automotive bodyshop and be confident of working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of vehicle repair methods within an automotive bodyshop.
  • Be reliable and good with time management.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
