Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out vehicle inspections, services, and repairs to a high standard, in line with company and legislative requirements.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and implement solutions, working efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime.
  • Proactively identify and report potential safety or quality issues, playing a critical role in upholding our standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, fostering a supportive and inclusive team environment.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Preferred requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician, with a solid understanding of vehicle systems and components.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, using a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
  • Relevant technical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Full UK driving license and a proactive attitude towards ongoing training and professional development
