Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the storage and distribution of goods within our warehouse. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling of materials.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move products efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including checking shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Assist in the organization and storage of materials within the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) safely and effectively.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
  • Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
