Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled TIG Welderto join our team based in Corby. As part of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality Stainless Steel and commercial trailers and rigid bodies, utilizing your TIG welding expertise to ensure precision and durability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality TIG welding on steel and aluminum components for trailers and rigid bodies.
  • Work from technical drawings and specifications to execute precise welds.
  • Collaborate with fabricators and engineers to meet production goals and client specifications.
  • Ensure all welds meet the highest standards of safety and industry compliance.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MIG welding equipment as needed.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in TIG welding, especially working with steel and aluminum.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Starting salary: 15 per hour.
  • Salary reviewed after 3 months, with an increase to 18 per hour based on performance.
  • Overtime rates: 25 per hour (Mon-Sat), 30 per hour (Sundays and Bank Holidays).
