Are you an Electrical Maintenance Technician, looking to join a world leading engineering business at their state-of-the-art facility in Coventry? We are ideally looking for those with experience of machine maintenance.

As the Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will utilise your expertise in shopfloor Machines, Electrical systems and Mechanical systems to ensure equipment runs smoothly and production standards and safety protocols are maintained.

A typical day as an Electrical Maintenance Technician:

  • Troubleshoot and fix electrical and mechanical issues on machines.
  • Review electrical drawings and perform fault finding.
  • Work on preventative maintenance and update older machines.
  • Engage with the team on the shop floor to ensure seamless operations.

Take responsibility of ensuring standards and safety are maintained:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various machines, plant and equipment.
  • Prioritise safety for operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct planned and preventive maintenance.
  • Install and refurbish plant equipment to facilitate continuous improvement of company assets.
  • Reduce downtime by monitoring and refining first-line and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with operators and team leaders to maintain efficiency.

Who is our ideal Electrical Maintenance Technician?

  • NVQ Level 3 in maintenance / manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical engineering background with an electrical bias.
  • Machine and machine tool experience, ideally with Mazak equipment.
  • Ability to read machine drawings and manuals (mechanical and electrical).
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
