Job Description
We are looking for experienced SEND Teachers to join a specialist school in Warwickshire, supporting students with additional needs. Working with learners who may present with challenging behaviour, are non-verbal, and require significant support with self-regulation, you will play a vital role in creating a structured and nurturing learning environment. Whether in a primary or secondary setting, your ability to tailor lessons to individual needs will help each child thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages participation and fosters a love for learning
  • Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behaviour
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and enhance the overall school environment
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up to date with the latest SEND strategies

Required Experience

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching students with complex autism and additional needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills and experience in providing high levels of support
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • A passion for education and a commitment to making a difference in students’ lives
