Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure own compliance to employee handbook always
  • Precision working with hand tools and machinery
  • Due care and diligence taken when using all machinery, power and hand tools
  • Carry out all cabinet making tasks tostandard.
  • Responsible for reassembly of any furniture as required by PCs
  • Use appropriate PPE for tasks
  • Ensure working environment is always as clean and hazard free
  • Be aware of others working around you always
  • Advise PC of any Accidents or near misses, so that remedial action can be taken
  • In conjunction with the PC. Ensure allpractices, protocols, systems and quality standards are adhered too.
  • Ensure all work is done to the highest standards, including ensuring all work done is properly protected from damage.
  • Any mistakes made to be flagged at the earliest opportunity.
  • In conjunction with the PC, using the whiteboard plan your day as efficiently as possible.
  • Advise the PC of any planned absences with reasonable notice
  • Highlight any areas of concern, to include Health and Safety, Quality issues, Material requirements, faulty equipment etc.
  • Responsible for team work, communication, input and ideas / solutions / putting forward more efficient working methods
  • Utilise all materials in an efficient and cost-effective manner to minimise wastage
  • Ensure H&S policy and procedures are followed.
