Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Managed Hosting, Public Cloud or Private Cloud Enterprise Data Centre environments.
  • Strong skills in server, storage and network deployment, with hands-on break-fix support experience.
  • Solid understanding of Data Centre M&E design, including power, cooling, redundancy.
  • Familiarity with DCIM tools (ideally NLyte) and the importance of asset tracking.
  • Experience in structured cabling deployments (Copper & Fibre) – design, installation, and testing (desirable).
  • Knowledge of IT hardware concepts (RAID, SAN, x86 architecture, SCSI, FC, Ethernet, iLO).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a personal car – essential.
