Data Engineer
4 Month Contract
Location: Home / Corsham (2 days a week)
Rate: 550 - 600 per day (Inside IR35)

We are looking to recruit an SC Cleared Data Engineer for a global software and solutions organisation. This is an initial 4 month contract. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work 2 days a week on site in Corsham, Wiltshire.

Valid SC Clearance is essential for the role.

This role requires an in-depth knowledge of SQL, Postgres SQL, SSIS, and SQL Stored Procedures, and will focus on integrating data into Power BI and ensuring data quality in our warehouse. You will play a vital role in developing and validating technical data quality rules and dimensions and implementing efficient ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate data from Postgres SQL into Power BI to support business reporting and analytics.
  • Develop SQL Stored Procedures to bring data through to the data warehouse.
  • Ensure data quality by creating, implementing, and validating technical data quality rules and dimensions.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes, including data aggregation to support data integrity and reliability.
  • Design, develop, and validate technical processes that ensure high data quality standards.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong on-premises experience with SQL, Postgres SQL, and SSIS.
  • Expertise in SQL Stored Procedures and data integration for data warehousing.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing data quality rules and processes.
  • Familiarity with ETL generation and aggregation processes to support data quality initiatives.
