iO Associates are working with a defence & central government technical consultancy to find x2 Data Scientists with a specialty in AI to join them on an urgent, contract basis.

Required skills / knowledge:

  • Assist in the development of comprehensive AI governance policies which are aligned with MOD and government standards.
  • Promote safe and responsible AI adoption.
  • Ensure AI use compliance with evolving legislation.
  • Undertake robust risk management processes, and regularly review and update these strategies.
  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining the Army AI portfolio.
  • Utilise architecture models to visualise and communicate understanding of the AI landscape.
  • Foster a cohesive approach to AI adoption, enhancing the Army's understanding of AI and aligning AI activities with the Army's strategic objectives.
  • Effectively manage interactions with potential Army users, guiding them from issue discovery to solution implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Discovery Advisory Branch (DDAB) to understand AI demand and challenges.
  • Promote external engagement & regular collaborations with AI partners across multiple sectors.
  • Amplify the external communications and public relations, showcasing dedication to AI innovation and share progress.
  • Collaborate with the Army Data Analytics Team (ADAT) for optimal AI/ML data utilisation.
  • Provide strategic input to improve data governance policies and ensure efficient Army-wide data management.
  • Provide technical guidance to all stakeholders, ensuring they're equipped to handle AI technologies.
  • Proactively identify and share potential impacts of AI changes within the AAIC, keeping all teams updated and ready to adapt their strategies.
