- Leading the management and review of all journals, ledgers, and month-end processes
- Managing accounts in QuickBooks ensuring that both the accounts payable and receivable are up to date
- Preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts as well as providing strategic analysis to the SLT
- Managing cash flow, particularly debtors and cash balances
- Processing monthly payroll, pensions, expenses, and other payments to employees and stakeholders
- Ensuring full compliance with all statutory requirements
- Manage relationships with external accountants, brokers, and bankers
- Getting involved in varied operational duties and other project work
- Three years experience working in a similar role within an SME
- AAT Level 4 qualified
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software
- Strong excel skills
- Salary of £35,000 - £45,000
