Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Paraplanner to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial advice to their Clients. You’ll be joining one of their vibrant 'Pods,’ each made up of Financial Planners, Paraplanners, and Relationship Managers.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring that every recommendation they make for their Clients is both accurate and fully compliant.

What You’ll Be Doing As A Paraplanner

As a Paraplanner, you will be involved in a broad spectrum of financial planning areas, including but not limited to:

    • Life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, group protection and business protection, ensuring clients have adequate protection in place.
    • Estate planning and mitigation strategies, including the use of appropriate trust structures to help clients preserve and transfer their wealth effectively.
    • All areas of retirement planning, particularly around the commencement of benefits and developing tax-efficient withdrawal strategies that align with individual client needs and goals.
    • Assessing suitability and providing advice on complex pension transfer cases, including Defined Benefit transfers and other safeguarded benefits.
    • Researching investment options, analysing portfolio performance and portfolio ratios to support client recommendations, ensuring technical information is portrayed in a manner that is understandable to their clients. Given that they run their own model portfolio service, you’ll gain significant investment exposure with the option of contributing to the investment team.
