FAS Application Specialist - Active Security Clearance Required

We are seeking a FAS Application Specialist to join our team, offering an opportunity to work at the forefront of technology with a company that values respect and innovation. This role is ideal for someone with robust 4th line technical support experience in FAS Applications, who is adept at handling complex technical issues and understands the broader implications of changes within the system.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide 4th line support in response to escalated incidents from 3rd line, focusing on the connectivity and interaction between services.
  • Work closely with other embedded engineers within the CyISOCs to manage and resolve incidents.
  • Develop new technical offerings and maintain existing components through the delivery lifecycle including document feedback, security patches, support testing, and final delivery to release.
  • Create installation guides (SOIs) and conduct knowledge transfers to 3rd line engineers.
  • Lead and contribute to project work as a subject matter expert in specific technology areas.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Working-level knowledge of virtual environments including VM creation, snapshots, and networking of Windows and Linux guests.
  • Expert-level knowledge of the interactions between command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and logistics FAS applications across all domains.
  • Experience with XMPP Instant Messaging (IM) including building and supporting WAN Wide Instant Messaging Networks.
  • Proficiency in tools such as WinSCP, Robocopy, file hashes, and 7-Zip for efficient media movement.
  • Experience with PKI certificates, including request, manipulation using OpenSSL, and installation on Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Familiarity with various technologies including VMWare, VSphere, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Oracle Linux, MSSQL, ORACLE, PostgreSQL, IIS, JAVA, XML, APACHE, SOAP, and Active Directory services.
