Engineering Manager NHS - Planned Maintenance - Salary to 55k.

Your role will be to manage the planned maintenance requests only in a large acute hospital in Portsmouth. Managing around 1800 planned requests a month, you will utilise around 100 contractors a month as well as an internal team of 2 electricians and a mechanical fitter to stay on top of planned maintenance and statutory compliance. Two schedulers report into this role to assist with the planning of works.

You will need to have a solid Estates engineering maintenance background, along with an in depth knowledge of asset management and be familiar with how a CAFM system works. You will be expected to continue updating the asset register as the role progresses.

This contract went live is 2009 and has 18 years left. The contract benefits from a healthy relationship between the Trust, the SPV and the FM company.
