Are you a skilled engineer seeking a dynamic opportunity in a cutting-edge environment? As a Shift Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Monitor and respond to alarms and alerts promptly, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular inspections and checks to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate scheduled maintenance and shutdowns.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a shift engineer, preferably in a data centre or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, generators, UPS, and fire detection systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
