Our client based in the Cosham area is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector, ideally with an electronics background.
Hours:
- 38.75 basic per week, 7am - 4.45pm (Monday to Thursday) 7am - 12.30pm (Friday)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting regular inspections of products and materials to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Identifying defects and coordinating necessary corrective actions with production teams
- Maintaining detailed documentation of inspections, findings, and corrective measures
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to develop and implement quality control processes
- Monitoring compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the production environment
- Facilitating continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency
- Providing feedback and recommendations to management regarding quality issues
- Ensuring proper use and maintenance of quality control equipment
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in quality control engineering within the manufacturing sector
- Understanding of quality control techniques and industry standards
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Ability to follow strict procedures and guidelines to maintain high-quality standards
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in quality control or engineering
