About the Role:
Are you a skilled Maintenance Plumber / Fabric Engineer looking for a new opportunity? My client, a leading Facilities Management (FM) company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their team. You will be working in a corporate environment in Bristol, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of plumbing and building fabric systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and reactive maintenance on plumbing systems, including pipework, drainage, and sanitary fixtures.
- Carry out fabric maintenance tasks such as minor repairs to building structures, doors, and windows.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to provide comprehensive building services.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Plumber /, ideally in a corporate or commercial setting.
- Relevant qualifications in plumbing or a related field (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of building fabric maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
