About the Role:

Are you a skilled Maintenance Plumber / Fabric Engineer looking for a new opportunity? My client, a leading Facilities Management (FM) company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their team. You will be working in a corporate environment in Bristol, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of plumbing and building fabric systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance on plumbing systems, including pipework, drainage, and sanitary fixtures.
  • Carry out fabric maintenance tasks such as minor repairs to building structures, doors, and windows.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to provide comprehensive building services.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Plumber /, ideally in a corporate or commercial setting.
  • Relevant qualifications in plumbing or a related field (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of building fabric maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
