Tradewind Recruitment is actively recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to support SEND/Mainstream schools in Denbingshire. We offer flexible working options, whether you're seeking full-time or part-time work, allowing you to balance work with your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within SEND school environments, supporting children with special educational needs
  • Assisting the classroom teacher in managing lessons and student engagement
  • Offering tailored support to individual students or small groups with diverse SEND needs
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere
  • Helping with classroom management and student progress monitoring

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role or working with SEND children (preferred)
  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality
  • A current enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
