About the Role:Randstad Care is seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join the Pre-Birth Team in Denbighshire on an agency contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional passionate about supporting expectant parents and ensuring the best possible outcomes for vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake pre-birth assessments to identify potential risks and support needs.
- Develop and implement child protection plans where necessary.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams, including healthcare professionals, midwives, and other social care staff.
- Provide timely interventions to support families in preparation for the arrival of a child.
- Prepare and present clear, concise reports for case conferences, court proceedings, and other statutory meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with local authority policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Current registration with Social Care Wales (or equivalent if applicable).
- Proven experience in pre-birth or child protection teams.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
