Toolmaker
Our client on the outskirts of south Leicestershire is looking to recruit a skilled Toolmaker due to ongoing growth within the company. This is a permanent role and a fantastic opportunity to join a business that has recently expanded internationally. The successful candidate will be working from Modern and newly refurbished facility in a supportive and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in toolmaking, producing jigs and fixtures, manual machining, CNC Machining. Programming experience will also be a bonus.
Toolmaker Duties and responsibilities
- Manufacturing Jigs, fixtures, tooling
- Maintenance and improvement of existing tooling.
- Setting and programming of CNC machinery for small batch and development purposes.
- Utilising manual machinery including lathes and grinders
- CADCAM knowledge advantageous but not essential
- Involvement in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Any other duties that may from time to time be reasonably expected.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of engineering materials.
Toolmaker
- 8am-5pm Monday-Thursday / Friday Midday Finish
- 36,000-40,000 per annum
