Job Title - Electrical Fitter - Permanent
Salary - up to £28k
Location - Rugby
Hours -Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm and 8.30am to 1.00pm on Friday

Purpose of the Electrical Fitter role:
Our client is looking for an experienced and competent Electrical & Mechanical Fitter with the skills in electrical and mechanical installation and wiring in accordance with regulations and specifications. Focused on quality engineering precision. You will work as part of a team and be responsible for the self-inspection of assembled components including quality compliance and safety standards.

Main duties and responsibilities of an Electrical Fitter:

Correctly use and maintain the tools of the trade including power tools, test equipment and measuring instruments.
Locate and repair faults in electrical power supply equipment.
Carry out mechanical fitting and relevant assembly work.
Read and interpret electrical wiring and circuit diagrams, and assembly drawings.
Power supply wiring and construction.
Self-inspection of all work.
Maintain documentation of process.
Stores/parts kitting.
Stock take duties.

Experience/knowledge requirements for an Electrical Fitter:

Ability to build to sample/verbal instructions.
Experience in assembly of electrical parts, components, and sub-assemblies.
Soldering, crimping, and wire-stripping experience.
Drilling/tapping experience.
