To be considered, you will need a minimum of 2 years’ electrical estimating experience, and the overwhelming desire to build a long term career in this vital and special role.
So, what responsibilities await the successful candidate?
- Preparation of Tender Cost reports
- Assisting with vetting incoming tenders / offers from supply chain whilst ensuring the most viable offer is included in the submission
- Assisting with the preparation and issue of supplier enquiry pack
- Production of bills of quantities, and schedules of work
- Drafting contractor proposal documents to support bids
- Assist with estimating costs, duration and risks associated with each bid
- Arranging and chairing tender adjudication meetings
What’s required?
- City & Guilds level 3 in an electrical related discipline
- 2 (or more) years’ experience gained within a similar capacity
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exemplary numerical and IT skills
- An amazing sense of perfection
- AND…………….A shockingly brilliant sense of humour
