Senior Industry Placement Lead

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Coulsdon, South Croydon.
Job Purpose- Lead the Careers and Industry Placement team, providing direction and support.
- Ensure effective careers support, placement opportunities, and compliance with national guidance and quality standards.
- Drive the completion of industry placements for T-levels and study programs.
- Manage the careers and industry placement team, ensuring effective performance and development.
- Support the centralised tutorial curriculum, helping meet relevant Gatsby benchmarks.
- Conduct placement preparation sessions and career progression activities for students.
- Build and maintain a database of employers and placement opportunities.
- Ensure all health and safety assessments and parental consents are completed for placements.
- Build strong relationships with employers, schools, and sector bodies.
- Relevant experience working within the education and employment sectors.
- Confident and engaging manner with prospective partners and employers.
- Knowledge of Gatsby benchmarks and career-related legislation.
- Strong internal communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence across departments.
- Strong digital skills (SharePoint, Teams, Word).
- Ability to work autonomously and creatively to create opportunities.
- Own transport and full clean license.
