We are currently seeking a dedicated GCSE English Lecturer available to start this Monday. The role involves teaching students on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. If you are also capable of teaching Maths GCSE, there is a possibility to extend this to a full-time ongoing position.

Day-to-day of the role of an English Lecturer :
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality GCSE English lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Provide feedback to students to aid in their learning and development.
  • Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • If teaching Maths as well, prepare and deliver Maths lessons in line with the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the English Lecturer post:
  • A recognised teaching qualification in the relevant subject(s).
  • Experience teaching GCSE English, and Maths if applicable.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Must possess a current DBS on the Update Service.
