IT Support Engineer

  • Reporting to: Head of IT
  • Location: Coulsdon, Croydon
  • Salary: £25k-£27k + Benefits
  • Type: 37 hours per week

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Coulsdon, Croydon.

Role Purpose

  • To handle customer requests promptly and maintain high service standards, while supporting and managing all IT systems and assets.

Responsibilities

  • Work flexibly with existing members of the IT Services team.
  • Ensure that you communicate effectively within the team, to make your responsibilities transferable.
  • Become accustomed to using a managed Helpdesk system and organise your work to meet the priority needs of the department.
  • Be able to quickly understand requirements in order to develop relevant solutions.
  • Be able to work with a wide range of internal and external clients to develop effective relationships quickly in order to provide the best service possible.

Requirements

  • Related IT experience
  • Experience supporting MS Windows and Mac OS (desirable)
  • Software and Hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 / ITIL v4 (desirable)
  • An effective problem solver
