About Us:

We are looking for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to manage the Speech and Language Therapy strategy at two SEN School in Coulsdon and Crawley. The role is part-time (2 days/ week), 1 day at each site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be able to offer a programme of support.
  • Working collaboratively with team members.
  • Help a small group of pupils who need access to qualified SALT
  • Directing SALT assistants and TAs to support strategies in class
  • Managing training of staff to meet pupil demands who have low to medium needs
  • Be optimistic, hardworking, enthusiastic and creative.
  • Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Speech and Language Degree or relevant qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Knowledge: Understanding of supporting SEN pupils
