My client are a main contractor working nationwide within a multitude of disciplines within the construction and civil engineering industry and are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with highways experience to assist them in delivering high profile projects within the Midlands area.
聽
They require the right candidate to play a crucial role in the success of the project whilst adhering to contractual obligations and meeting business objectives. The projects consist of various disciplines including highways, rail, earthworks and drainage.

Key Responsibilities:
聽
路Managing the financial and contractual performance of the project.
路Overseeing its performance, ensuring the attainment of profit targets and efficiency savings.
路Adhering to contractual time scales and effectively administering change control processes.
路Identifying and effectively managing risks and opportunities associated with projects.
路Conducting compliant procurement processes and selections as required.
路Addressing commercial queries and providing knowledgeable advice on legal matters.
路Efficiently managing the Supply Chain and conducting necessary audits.
路Monitoring the progress of projects, maintaining accurate financial logs, and generating reports.
路Ensuring strict compliance with assurance processes, policies, and procedures.
路Building robust relationships with project teams, clients, and members of the commercial team.
Requirements:

路Must have working knowledge and experience of NEC and JCT Contracts
路Experience within a Quantity Surveyor role
路Able to demonstrate relevant project experience within a highways setting
路A strong commercial background
路Strong leadership abilities
路Excellent project management and cost control skills
路Degree within Quantity Surveying or similar field
路Problem solving abilities
路Full UK driving license
