TEXO Recruitmentis seeking a skilledSite Maintenance Engineerto support the operational performance of our external client based in Aberdeen. The role requires a proactive approach to planned and preventative maintenance, effective problem-solving techniques, and the implementation of corrective actions to ensure smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all planned and preventative mechanical maintenance tasks onsite.
  • Overhaul and replace key parts, maintaining stock levels of critical components in collaboration with the Procurement Coordinator.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults to root cause, carry out mechanical repairs, and liaise with external specialists when required.
  • Conduct conditional assessments of access/egress equipment and fixings, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all personal work areas.
  • Adhere to and promote sound Health and Safety practices at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a plant or industrial maintenance environment.
  • Time-servedMechanical Maintenance Engineerwith at leastfive yearsof post-apprenticeship experience.
  • Understanding of mechanical/electrical interface principles.
  • IPAF and Working at Height certification(preferred, but training will be provided).
  • Valid and clean UK Driving Licence.
