Accounts & Audit Senior

Accounts & Audit Senior required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accountants based in the Coventry area, and due to recent growth, they are seeking an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their welcoming and friendly team. My client provides a wide range of services to a number of different clients, including; SMEs to larger corporates, LLPs including professional partnerships, public sector bodies, charities and high net worth individuals.

• Lead audits from planning through to completion
• Supervise and provide feedback to audit assistants
• Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
• Assist with the finalisation of the accounts
• Ensure all deadlines are met and targets are met
• Assist and mentor the more junior members of staff

Suitable candidates will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice environment and will be ACA/ACCA fully qualified/part-qualified.

• Suitable candidates must be fully ACA/ACCA part-qualified/qualified
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident dealing with clients face-to-face, over email and over the phone
• Ability to work well within a team

• Up to 40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
• 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
