We're seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager who thrives in a hands-on environment and appreciates the nuances of working in a smaller accountancy practice.
The Opportunity:
- Lead audit engagements for clients with £1M - £200M turnover
- Blend audit work with accounts preparation
- A clear path to Partnership for the right candidate
Your Role:
- Manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously
- Review audits, including Corporation Tax and Statutory Accounts
- Prepare client accounts (IRIS experience ideal)
- Collaborate closely with partners and team members
- Stay ahead of accounting and auditing regulations
What You Bring:
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- Significant experience in a smaller accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, VAT, CIS, and inventory management
- Understanding of Personal Tax matters
- Proficiency in auditing software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Passion for hands-on work and client service
