We are recruiting for a Financial Controller within a National Distributor to work closely with the COO and Operations teams, providing essential financial support and insights. This role involves managing a significant budget and revenue responsibilities, making it ideal for a qualified finance professional with a strong background in financial operations within a national scope.
Day-to-day of the role:- Collaborate with the COO and Operations teams to review, analyse, and challenge operational efficiencies and costs.
- Manage monthly reviews of costs, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
- Present finance updates at regional operations meetings and other functions as required.
- Conduct monthly analysis of 500m direct costs, understanding underlying operational KPIs and performance metrics.
- Report performance against KPIs and targets
- Budgeting & forecasting developing models to improve forecast accuracy.
- Degree qualified
- More than 5 years of experience in a finance-related role, preferably within operations or a similar field.
- ICAEW Qualified
- Strong process skills to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
- Data-driven approach with robust analytical skills.
- Excellent control skills and instincts to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Proven Business Partner experienced working with a range of stakeholders
- Curiosity to question, challenge, and drive business improvements.
