Job Title: Project Accountant - Systems & Finance Integration Location: Coventry Reports To: Head of Finance Job Type: Temporary 8 weeks Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Accountant with a strong background in finance systems integration. In this role, you will manage and oversee the integration of financial systems and processes within project management operations. You will ensure seamless financial tracking, reporting, and analysis for key projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements and optimise processes. Key Responsibilities: Financial Systems Integration: Collaborate with IT and project management teams to integrate finance-related systems and tools into project workflows. Identify gaps or inefficiencies in financial systems, recommending and implementing improvements. Participate in the design, testing, and deployment of new financial systems or updates to existing systems. Project Accounting & Reporting: Oversee and manage project accounting activities, ensuring accurate cost tracking, budgeting, and forecasting. Prepare project financial reports, ensuring compliance with internal controls and standards. Coordinate project-specific financial analysis to track progress against budgets and financial objectives. System and Data Management: Manage the flow of financial data between project management and finance systems. Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data into systems, maintaining data integrity. Develop and maintain financial dashboards to track project performance and key financial metrics.
