Reed Accountancy is thrilled to partner with our esteemed client in Coventry to recruit a dynamic and qualified Management Accountant.

About the Role: This is an exceptional opportunity for candidates proficient in SAP and Excel, ready to make a significant impact. Reporting directly to the Financial Director, you will be an integral part of a small, friendly finance team. This role does not include direct reports, allowing you to focus on high-level financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • P&L preparation
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Monthly cost centre reviews (Budget vs. Actuals vs. Forecast YTD)
  • Assisting with the annual audit
  • Cash allocation
  • Managing expenses
  • VAT returns
  • Resolving queries
  • Journal entries
  • Supporting transactional queries

Candidate Profile: We are seeking a proactive individual who excels at prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and working independently. A can-do attitude is essential. You will work closely with the Finance Director, playing a pivotal role in the company's financial operations.

Qualifications:

  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or ICAEW qualified or Qualified by Experience.
