About the roleCoventry Building Society has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cost Accountant to join us.Supporting the Society with driving enterprise-wide priorities in relation to efficiency and value, this role will involve advising and challenging on how to get the most value from resources, considering both short and long-term outcomes.The person in post will be involved with delivering the month end activities, supporting the financial planning process, managing day-to-day financial operations, tracking and monitoring forecast and reporting. A key part of the role will be analysing and identifying risks, issues and opportunities.Our benefits include:

We do reserve the right to close this advertisement early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.About youAs well as being a part qualified accountant, you will also have strong finance business partnering skills and have experience of explaining complex financial information in written and verbal form to financial and non-financial people.You’ll preferably have project accounting experience and will have the ability to gather and analyse data, financial and non-financial, from a wide range of sources to drive commercial insight and decision making.You’ll ideally have experience of working in a regulated environment and be confident in your ability to draw out key data and turn it into meaningful information to present to senior leaders.About usAs a mutual, we’ve always worked together to improve the lives of others.
