Role: Systems Accountant (12 month fixed term contract)
Location: Midlands, 2/3-day hybrid split
Salary: circa £70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Health + Pension

As a Systems Accounting Lead / Systems Accountant this role will be responsible for the integrity of the Finance Systems, and the alignment with Finance Reporting. Behind the scenes, you'll ensure the Key Financial controls are in line and understood by the business and control framework.
This role is suited to a proven Finance Systems Manager, or a Senior Systems Accountant / Project Accountant that is looking to work on a really exciting programme of work.
Areas of responsibility:
- Ensure all BAU tasks and processes are delivered in line with the companies policies and procedures
- Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the financial data across all of the finance systems and applications
- Working with cross functional teams to ensure that integrations with finance systems are maintained
- Create and update documentation around their System Integrity processes
- Provide oversight for escalated system challenges
Experience:
- Proven lead or managerial role within Finance Systems transformation / projects
- Qualified accountant with deep finance process knowledge
- Experienced in Finance System Reporting / Data & Analytics (TM1 bonus)
- Strong knowledge / background in Finance, Accounting principles and procedures
Flexible hybrid role, likely operating 3/2 between in office and remote. Commutable from most key Midlands based locations, including Birmingham, Nottingham, Coventry, Solihull, Derby, Walsall, Northampton, Leicester, East Midlands and more.
