FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant vacancy for an SME Manufacturing business based in Coventry. This opportunity will offer rapid career progression with a view to becoming the Finance Manager within 12 months!
Suitable candidates will ideally be experienced using Sage & hold either AAT qualifications OR the relevant work experience in a similar role within an SME. The role is office based so applicants must be happy with this arrangement to be considered for the role!
Duties Will Include
- Assisting with maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Supporting with Credit Control
- Checking, coding up and entering purchase invoices & returns onto the relevant ledgers
- Supporting the Finance Director with month-end reporting / cashflow / budgets
- Resolving queries with customers & clients
- Raising of credit notes
- Banking information onto accounting system
- Reconciling supplier statements & making payments via BACS
- Production of invoices
