This role will suit someone on a career trajectory to Accountant and requires the accurate processing of supplier and customer information and general department administration. The person will get support from the Leadership Team to facilitate their career development.
Job Purpose:* Ensuring a robust level of financial control within those areas of direct responsibilityincluding (not exclusive) Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Finance Operations.* Support the coordination of multi-yearbudgets, performance management, targeting, cashflows, and forecasting cycles.* Liaise with wider team on all required financial matters* Areas of direct responsibility include o Provide overall Financial Management for Purchase and Saleso Raise purchase and sales invoices using Xero o Raise Sales invoiceo Reconcile Sales invoices daily o Chase up late paymentso Dealing with Customer Damage Waivers as main point of contact o Run Monthly Supplier payment reports and make bank payments to creditorso Bank Reconciliationo Expenses
Skills and Experience:* Must be highly proficient in Xero and Excel.* Minimum 3 years work experience in a similar finance or administrative role.* Good communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to build cross functional (finance and non-finance) relationships.* Capable of working at pace and under pressure, able to manage / prioritise to deadlines.* High levels of quality and accuracy in aspects of work.* Familiarity with HMRC, and its function.* Previous experience of financial reporting
